If this cafe sounds familiar to you, that is because it is opened by 2AM’s Changmin! The Min’s (더 민스) officially opened its doors on June 17, the day right before I went to Daegu, so I had to visit this cafe! (Most people don’t know that I’m an official 3rd IAM ㅋㅋㅋ, but my bias is Jinwoon hehe!)
Haha Hoho Cafe (하하호호 카페) is a cafe located along the coast of Udo Island in Jeju. I happened to chance upon the cafe with my friend while riding on the ATV, where we stopped by to take some photos and waited for our other friends. This is probably one of the cafes in Korea I’ve ever been to with such a beautiful scenery.
Cafe de Seoyeun (카페서연의집) or Seoyeun’s House, is actually Seoyeun / Seoyeon’s (Han Ga In’s) house built by her first love, Seungmin (Uhm Tae Woong) in the Korean movie Architecture 101 (건축학개론). After the movie, the house was remodelled as a cafe, with some aspects from the movie still kept intact! I watched the movie on the plane 2 years back and it left a deep impression on me, so when news about the house being transformed into a cafe came out, I knew I had to visit this place. (Actually, I wanted to visit this place because Taemin went before as well hehe!)
This cafe is really inaccessible and out of the way (apparently it’s located somewhere along Olle route 5), but since we rented a car – we just had to key in the address into the GPS! Despite it being a rainy day on the day we visited, the cafe was quite crowded with Koreans – mainly couples and young families.
